This stunning claret-style wine is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Shiraz. It was made using hand-harvested fruit from our Wilyabrup vineyard and was aged in new French oak barrels for eighteen months.

Often referred to as “The Great Australian Red”, Cabernet Shiraz is seen by many as Australia’s definitive wine style. In 2015, we released our first Winston Cabernet Shiraz which went on to win silver at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London. This vintage is even better.

A medium-bodied red with fragrant red fruits and florals. Dark berries, plum, black olive and Eucalyptus with faint clove and cedar notes.

Has bright acidity – succulent and structured. Plummy fruit and soft supple tannins and a lovely lingering finish.

Ready to drink now, it will also mature over the next five years with a cellaring potential of up seven years.
